Projects where we are adding stars: Wonder of the Seas

Royal Caribbean is known for its innovation and continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Its ships are at the leading edge and next year a new ship, The Wonder Of The Seas, is added to the fleet.

Today this new luxurious Royal Caribbean International cruise ship is under construction in Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. It is one of the world’s largest shipyards where a wide range of commercial, naval, and passenger ships are built.

The Wonder Of The Seas is scheduled for delivery in 2021, and the bathrooms on board will be supplied and created by Eumar. The Wonder Of The Seas will be the fifth Oasis-class ship built and also the fifth that we are involved in furbishing. We are so proud, that the customer has chosen us again and again and we have had a privilege to add stars to each of those amazing projects.

The Oasis-class is the largest class of ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet ; right now the latest Oasis ship, the Symphony of the Seas, holds the record for the world’s largest cruise ship, with a capacity of 6,680 guests.

As the Royal Caribbean website says: “There isn’t a vacation in the world that packs more adventure into one week than Oasis-Class ships – Harmony®, Allure®, Symphony®, and Oasis of the Seas®.”

There were major celebrations when we received the news that we had won the contract to deliver 2900 bathrooms on this amazing ship.

The vessel is set to be named The Wonder of the Seas, and our task will be to make every single bathroom live up to this name. She will debut in 2021 as the world’s largest cruise ship and the first of the renowned Oasis-Class to sail the Asia Pacific.

“Through innovative and bespoke solutions for five-star bathrooms which stand out and increase guest satisfaction and conversion rate of the property, we are helping cruise ship asset owners and operators optimize their profitability and increase ROI of fleet portfolios,” says Eumar CEO Arkadi Berman. “We pride ourselves on facilitating the largest cruise ship companies worldwide, supporting their operations through enhancing comfort and design in their customer bathrooms,” he concluded.

a tradition of innovation

The details of the ships were revealed by Royal Caribbean president and chief executive officer Michael Bayley at a global cruise industry conference in Shanghai.

“Royal Caribbean is known for its innovation and constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and an Oasis-Class ship in China is proof of that,” said Bayley. “Wonder of the Seas will redefine the ultimate vacation and be revolutionary in her own right, and she marks one of Royal Caribbean’s most exciting chapters to come.”
